One of our larger wire sawing jobs took place in Nydalen, for Veidekke Construction.
The project revolved around the expansion of Nydalen subway station, in order to increase capacity.
Wirecut Nordic's contribution to the project focused on wire sawing and transportation of eliminated material.
Though the concrete was reinforced and quite hard there were no unforseen challenges that arose during the course of the project. This was accomplished due to our custom-made equipment, based on long-term experience with both Betong Sawing AS and Wirecut Nordic's new R & D department.
The project was completed over the course of 3 months.
The job also required us to core drill at specific positions for increased access, along with the ability to fasten a crane-mounted sling on undamaged concrete.
